Anyone still using CellSmart for ticketing? Worth switching?
I've been using CellSmart for ticketing at my shop for a couple of years now, and I'm starting to wonder if it's still the best option for us. The interface is pretty straightforward, but I've noticed that it can be a bit slow during peak hours. We've been getting more customers lately, and it feels like the software struggles to keep up. I'm also curious about how it integrates with our inventory system. I’ve heard mixed reviews on some alternatives like RepairShopr and Shop-Ware, but I’d love to hear from other shop owners who have made the switch. What are your experiences? Are there features you find indispensable that I might be missing out on?

I switched from CellSmart to RepairShopr about six months ago, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I made for my shop. The integration with inventory is seamless, and I love the reporting features that give me insights into customer habits and sales trends. The mobile app is another game changer; it allows my techs to update tickets right from the floor, which has improved our workflow significantly. Plus, the customer support has been stellar. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a more robust solution!
I've been using CellSmart for a while, and while it has its quirks, it gets the job done for a smaller shop like mine. One thing I appreciate is the pricing; it’s affordable and doesn’t come with unexpected fees. But I do find myself wishing for more automation in reminders and follow-ups. If your shop is growing, it might be time to look into alternatives, but if you're not ready for a transition, CellSmart still works for basic operations. Just be mindful of its limitations as you expand!
