iPad Air repair keeps coming back — what am I missing?
Hey everyone, I've been having a recurring issue with iPad Air repairs. I've had three come back within the last month for the same screen problem. After the initial repair, the screens are good for a week or two, but then they start exhibiting touch sensitivity issues and ghost touches. I've used OEM parts from my usual vendor and double-checked my workflow, but I must be missing something. Any insights would be much appreciated!

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue! I had a similar problem where I was using certain screen replacements that seemed fine initially but failed after a short period. I switched to a different supplier, and now I only source my parts from trusted vendors like iFixit or Mobile Defenders. Make sure you're also checking the flex cables for any damage during installation; sometimes they can get pinched or stressed, leading to problems down the line. Good luck!
Have you tried recalibrating the touch screen after installation? Sometimes, a simple software fix can address sensitivity issues. I recommend using a tool like iOS Repair Toolbox for diagnostics after repairs. Also, make sure that your workspace is completely dust-free; even the smallest particles can cause issues with the touchscreen performance. It's worth looking into!
