Best wholesale supplier for iPad Air cameras?

Ryan O.Irish Tech Fix2 answers

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some recommendations on where to source iPad Air cameras for my repair shop. We've had a few clients come in needing camera replacements, and I want to make sure I'm getting high-quality parts at a reasonable price. I've tried a couple of local suppliers, but their stocks have been inconsistent and I've had a few RMAs that were a hassle to deal with. If anyone has a go-to vendor they trust for iPad Air cameras, I’d love to hear about their pricing, quality, and any experiences with their return process. I’m also curious if there's software or systems you use to keep track of your inventory and parts orders, as that could really streamline the workflow for us. Thanks in advance for any insights!

I highly recommend checking out iFixit for your iPad Air cameras. Their parts are generally of good quality, and I've found their prices to be quite competitive — around $30 per camera. They also offer a solid RMA policy which has saved me a few times when I received faulty parts. What I really appreciate is their repair guides and tools, which have come in handy for training my new techs. I also use RepairShopr for managing my inventory and orders. It integrates well with my workflow and helps me keep track of which parts I need to reorder. Definitely worth looking into if you're not using a similar system already!

I've had decent luck with Phone Repair Parts. Their prices are usually around $28 per camera, and while their quality is generally good, I've noticed that their shipping can be a bit slow. They do have a return policy, but it can be a bit tricky to navigate. I recommend always inspecting parts as soon as they arrive to catch any issues early. For tracking orders, I just use a simple spreadsheet, but I'm thinking about upgrading to a dedicated system soon. If you find a reliable vendor, that could help eliminate some of the headaches with parts sourcing.
