What do you charge for MacBook Pro screen repair?
As a repair shop owner, I'm looking for some real-world insights on what other shops are charging for MacBook Pro screen repairs. I've seen a wide range of prices online, but I'm curious about what you all are actually charging your customers. I usually order my parts from a few different suppliers, but I'd like to know if there's a vendor you trust for reliable parts. Additionally, any tips on how you handle the workflow for these repairs would be greatly appreciated. In my shop, I typically charge around $350 for a MacBook Pro screen replacement, which includes labor and parts. I find that customers are usually willing to pay this price if they understand the quality of the parts being used. However, I'm always looking to confirm that I'm in the right ballpark. Any advice or experiences you could share would be really helpful!

I totally understand where you're coming from! In my shop, I charge about $375 for a MacBook Pro screen repair. I order my screens from iFixit and have had a good experience with their quality. It adds a little to the cost, but I think it’s worth it for customer satisfaction. As for workflow, I keep track of repairs through RepairShopr, which helps me manage inventory and customer communications. I typically set aside about 2 hours for the repair, which gives me time to ensure everything is done right. One thing I've learned is that offering a warranty on the repair can really help build trust with your customers, and it might justify a slightly higher price point as well. Good luck!
I charge around $325 for a MacBook Pro screen replacement. I mostly use parts from a local supplier who I’ve built a good relationship with over the years. They offer competitive pricing, and I can usually get the parts the same day, which is a big plus for fast turnaround. I find that keeping the repair time to about 1.5 hours helps us stay efficient. For software, I use Square for managing payments and tracking sales, which makes it easy to keep everything organized. Just make sure to keep your customers informed about the repair process; communication can really enhance their experience overall.
