When to run an IMEI

Before you accept a repair, buy a used phone, or start an unlock — check the IMEI so you catch blacklist or carrier issues early.

Open IMEI checker under Tools. Enter the IMEI and review the result before you commit parts or cash.

Also store the IMEI on the ticket when you take the device in. It helps with warranty and lost-device disputes later.
